‘Un-potluck’ benefits Food Bank

An “un-potluck” will be held this week for the Food Bank of Nevada County.

On Thursday, gather together nonperishable fixings for a potluck, but don’t make anything. Bring the food from 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Thursday to Aikido’Ka, at 142 E. McKnight Way, Grass Valley.

Cash donations also will be accepted. If you can’t attend the event, drop off your donations any time after 10 a.m. Thursday at the dojo.

Aikido’Ka also will donate 10 percent of all new membership payments Thursday to the Food Bank.

To volunteer, to RSVP or for more information about the donation drive, call Frank Bloksberg at (530) 273-2727 or (530) 478-0170 or visit JoinAikido.com.
