Turn that car lot into a sanctuary for Steve Enos

After nearly six months of jumping through hoops to resolve traffic issues and endless design change requirements, our City Council seems incapable of ever getting this project done – with yet another delay. It’s amazing how the tyranny of a few and those that want to further their own political agenda can tie up a project like this well past the point of due diligence by our elected officials. Mayor Johnson, it’s time you started leading instead of being led by a vocal minority that opposes any form of growth that puts one more car on the road.

Walgreens should abandon its plans for the Glenbrook Basin, take those local jobs and the sales tax revenues and go to Placer County. Then we can turn that nice eyesore at Brunswick and Sutton into the Steve Enos Pedestrian Access Sanctuary.
