Touchdown isn’t in it for the money

As a member of the Touchdown Productions family, I am indeed perplexed at Mr. Gold’s vindictive and totally outlandish actions regarding his long-simmering feud with Gil Dominguez.

Whatever his beef, it most certainly did not need to be aimed at the kids swinging the bats, which is what resulted from his banning our crew from doing our jobs.

The issue has never been “money.” No person on the Touchdown staff is getting rich nor are we socking our fortunes away for that cabin in the mountains. I do my camera duties for the love of the medium, not for the meager pay. Many times we have all worked gratis just to be an important part of the community. It is unfortunate Mr. Gold is foolish enough not to see the much larger picture here.
