Today’s Police Blotter

Here are some items from the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office and the Nevada City Police Department blotter:

Tuesday

8:31 a.m. – A man called from the 11000 block of Lake Wildwood Drive saying he’s been receiving pornographic materials in the mail. He said he called the company sending the materials, but they haven’t stopped mailing him. The man said he would call Fox News or Bill O Reilly for help as he knew they’d despise such an occurrence.

2:25 p.m. – A caller from a business on the 700 block of Nevada Street reported theft of safe and cash register.

3:56 p.m. – A woman called from the 200 block of Main Street reporting that she was trying to discuss her husband’s case with a public defender and had mentioned the District Attorney’s office, when the public defender told her to get out his office. The woman requested log entry only for the purpose of documentation.
