Thelma Hatch

Thelma Lanona Hatch died Feb. 20 in Grass Valley with her husband by her side. She was 83.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.



Mrs. Hatch was born Aug. 30, 1924, near Spenceville to Fred and Louise (Bago) Clark. She attended schools in North San Juan. She married William Robert Hatch.

Mrs. Hatch was a homemaker and a life member of VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed painting – especially oil painting – was very crafty and could make anything from scratch.




Mrs. Hatch is survived by her husband, William Robert Hatch, of Grass Valley; children Arthur, Eugenia, Georgette, Angeline and Vella; stepson, Michael, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary in Nevada City.
