Scotten School kindergarten classes taught by Lois Johnson and Sue Yoshioka attended a concert Thursday at Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley hosted by the Twin Cities Concert Association and Target stores. Twelve professional musicians performed the “Carnival of the Animals” by Camille Saint Saens. Ken Hardin plays the piano after the concert, allowing students to see how a piano produces sound. Shawn Fletcher, 6, at right, and his fellow kindergarten class members act as if they are playing the piano during the concert.
