The South Yuba River Park Association and the South Yuba River State Park celebrated its annual Bridgeport Fall Festival at the South Yuba River State Park recently. The parkcame alive with fun, food, games and music.

The Ghosts of Bridgeport returned to tell stories of life along the South Yuba River. Ghost Tour Guide Mark Lyon called on several ghosts to tell their stories of live along the river in the late 1800’s.

The day’s activities included music by Michael Bremer and Rush Creek, living history characters, hay rides, barn tours, crafts, face painting, gold panning, pumpkin painting and other activities for kids of all ages. Food and drink was provided by many local vendors, including: Culture Shock Yogurt, June’s Deli and the Penn Valley Chamber of Commerce.
