The end is the beginning in sermon

“Beginning with an Ending” is the Rev. Laurie Costenborder-Jordan’s topic Sunday at Sierra Center for Positive Living, a Religious Science church. This is the first of a three-part series on transitions. The service begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Banner Grange.

Music will be by area vocalist-songwriter Jim Townsend. Everyone is invited to stay for conversation and coffee



Patt Lind-Kyle, chair of the compassionate care committee, will lead a grief circle at 12:15 p.m. Meditation services are at the church office Wednesdays at 7 p.m., preceded by a silent meditation at 6:40 p.m.




The church office is in the Yuba River Professional Building, 12059 Nevada City Highway, Suite 210, Grass Valley.

Sierra Center for Positive Living meets at 10:30 a.m. Sundays at the Banner Grange, 12629 McCourtney Road, 1.4 miles from the fairgrounds’ main gate. Call 274-1018 for more info.
