Tennis Club

Our Couples Tournament was held on Saturday, Oct. 17, and was lots of fun! A fun, lively morning of mixed doubles was followed by a lunch of pulled pork sandwiches, provided by your Tennis Club. We had a good turnout, even with the gloomy weather, and was able to play three rounds before the rain started.

Just a reminder, folks, our winter drop-in hours have started this week on Nov. 2.

The men’s social doubles on Mondays and Thursdays will play from 9 noon. The ladies’ social doubles are playing on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon. The office hours have also changed to 9 a.m. to noon.

Don’t miss our last Tennis Club event for 2015! On Saturday, Nov. 14 our annual Turkey Trot and Annual Meeting will start at 9 a.m. at the North Courts. Plan on a fun morning of tennis and then stay for lunch.

We are planning on a menu of chili and beef stew, cornbread, green salad and mini cheesecakes! Of course, we will have some spiced cider to warm us up too! Plan on arriving at 8:45 a.m. to check in for tennis.

If not playing tennis, don’t forget to sign up, and arrive around 11 a.m.

All Tennis Club members welcome! Look for the sign-up sheets to be posted soon!
