Sorry, there was a mix-up and either I forgot to send my article in or it got lost in cyberspace — don’t know, but it did not find its way to the TWI. So, this is a combo article.
Congratulations go out to Candy Pray for her hole-in-one on Sept. 26! She was on hole number 16 along with Kelly Mullaly, Mary Allred and Nancy Venable. She used her four wood.
Candy told me that Kelly was with her when she got her first hole-in-one at Wildwood too. She swears that Kelly must be her good luck charm!
Way to go, Candy!! (Maybe I could borrow Kelly and see if her luck works for me too?!)
Sept. 17 was a Two Best Ball tournament using the two best net scores of the foursomes. Congratulations to the teams with the Lowest Net scores:

The course is looking wonderful again, thanks to Bill Hamilton and his crew for all the great improvements they have been doing around the course.
Have you seen the new work on the wall on #9? Nice work, guys. With the talent of the guys that work here, we are able to enjoy these improvements at a much reduced cost over outsourcing.

The President’s Cup Tournament started on Oct. 1 and continued through Oct. 15. This is a match play elimination tournament.
As I write this article, the fourth round is completed and those moving on to the final round are: Maria Fahey will go against Dianna Mortara in the standard flight, and Carol Kraemer will go against Bonnie Kranich in the senior flight.
Good luck to all of the contestants. I will have the final results in my next article, due to the timing of my deadline.
Also coming up at the time of this writing is the Pink Ribbon Tournament. This year our hosts are the Women Niners and it was held on Tuesday, Oct. 13. Our thanks to them for such a great time. We love this fun day shared with our Niner sisters.
All of our donations go to our local Breast Cancer services. Thank you to our sponsors for their support. They help make this event a big success every year.
On Oct. 5, we played a Team Play makeup round at Auburn Valley. Our team gave it their all and took fifth place for the day.
The Team Play overall standings for the season are: First Place – Auburn Valley; Second Place – Plumas Lakes; Third Place – Lake of the Pines; Fourth Place – Peach Tree; Fifth Place – Alta Sierra; and Sixth Place – Lake Wildwood.
The last Team Play event of 2015 was played at Peach Tree on Oct. 20. The final results for the season will be in the next TWI, due to the closing date of this article.
Oct. 15 there was an Individual Low Net Tournament from the Pine Tees for those that were not in the President’s Cup and chose to participate. There was a Closest to the Pin contest as well on Hole #16. I will have the results next time.
Oct. 22 was a Draw Day, with meeting afterwards. This was our Witches Ball Tournament, played from the pine tees and all those goblins out there were invited to play. The results will be in the next article as well.
Membership applications went out on Oct. 11. Dues payment is to be received by Nov. 1 and will be considered delinquent on Nov. 15.
My next deadline is Oct. 28. Please have your club-related news to me before that date. Remember to fix your divots and ball marks to keep our course beautiful! Have fun and I will see you on the course!
