Tea Party gathering in Sacramento Sunday

Tea Party supporters in Nevada County will be traveling to Sacramento Sunday for a rally expected to draw adherents from across the West.

It’s planned for 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12 at McClellan Park, Sacramento.

Speakers will include co-founder and national organizer Mark Meckler of Chicago Park, Superior Court Judge Roy Moore of Alabama, Karen England of the Capitol Resource Center and Assemblyman Ted Gaines, R-Granite Bay, who is running for California Senate.

Music will be provided by Lisa and Bill Ellis, among others.

NorCal Tea Party Patriots has a block of rooms available at Lions Gate on the McClellan Grounds, 3410 Westover St., Sacramento. Rooms are $99, parking is $5.
