Tapestry raises $245 for Bridge Network

The Tapestry Network Christian Women’s organization had its highest fundraiser to date during the May 9 gathering with guest speaker Carol Scofield. Several new members made their debut appearance at the Tapestry gathering, and teamed up with the resident members to bring the highest funds-to-date (out of 16 months) to local nonprofit Bridge Network; $245 was raised during the dinner hosted at Christopher’s Old World Deli on Main Street in Grass Valley.

Tapestry’s members will team up again at the Nevada County Fairgrounds on June 1-2 for the Relay for Life, with a team goal of raising $3,500. The next Tapestry Gathering is June 13, with guest speaker Kimala DeSena; funds will be raised for Teen Challenge.
