Superintendent interviews successful, sources say

Five candidates were interviewed Tuesday for the Nevada Joint Union High School District superintendent position.

District Board President Katy Schwarz said the interviews went well and the board expects to make a decision toward the end of the week, with a closed session meeting Monday to offer the position to the chosen candidate.

“We’re hoping we’ll have an answer,” Schwarz said. “We had some great candidates, so we think we can do it.”

The Union will provide an update after Monday’s meeting.
