Hundreds of folks lined the streets and filled the businesses of downtown Nevada City for the first of three Wednesday “Summer Nights” scheduled for the month of July.

This is the 27th annual event, which closed down streets allowing arts, crafts, and street vendors an opportunity to sell their wares.

Live music in various locations brought people to their feet to dance and sway to the sounds of summer while food vendors satiated the taste buds of those in attendance.

The two remaining Nevada City “Summer Nights” are scheduled for Wednesday’s July 19, and 26 from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
