Students to repair bikes at giveaway

Seven Hills Middle School Bicycle Recycle Project students will give away about 50 bikes and repair others this weekend at a Loaves and Fishes event in Sacramento.

Students and other volunteers will leave the school at 7 a.m. Saturday on a bus to work as bicycle mechanics at Friendship Park in Sacramento. They will fix donated broken bicycles, which will then be given away in a drawing. Loaves and Fishes expects up to 400 attendees and 40 to 50 people who need bicycle maintenance.

If you would like to join the trip or have questions, call Steve Davis at the school, 265-1820, ext. 358.
