‘Stars’ are out for Bear River’s weekend choir showcase

The music of Queen will get a show choir makeover at Bear River High School’s 19th Annual Fantasy of Stars choir showcase this weekend.

Bear River High School’s Starlite Express show choir and Jazz Unlimited choir will perform alongside groups from Magnolia Middle School and two San Francisco Bay Area high schools.

Performances are set for 7 p.m. Friday, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday at the BRHS Bruin Community Performing Arts Theatre, 11130 Magnolia Road, southern Nevada County.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and seniors. For more information, call (530) 268-3700.
