Tryshe Dhevney
submitted |

Tryshe Dhevney, an award-winning actor, director and musician who has also reversed a life-threatening condition with sound healing, will give a talk, a concert and a workshop in Grass Valley Aug. 6-8.

Her free talk on Aug. 6 will be at the Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains, 246 S. Church St., Grass Valley.

Her concert and workshop Aug. 7 and 8 will be at Unity in the Gold Country, 180 Cambridge Court.

Dhevney is a pioneering expert in the field of sound healing and is well-known for her work combining movement and authentic vocal expression, toning.

She will be bringing her music, singing bowls and compelling presentation to Nevada County for the first time, with three opportunities to enjoy her music.

Dhevney’s work, her teaching and performances, have been inspired by her own personal healing journey.

In May 2000, her doctors advised her to “get her affairs in order;” as there was no further treatment for her advanced hepatitis C and liver disease.

Five months later, she was disease-free, having healed herself through the power of toning.

Dhevney has been honored by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and praised for her musical compositions and collaborations.

She is recognized as an authority in the field of vocal sound healing and has created a highly effective healing modality which she calls SoundShifting.

SoundShifting enables individuals to use their own voice to achieve remarkable results in their lives, and teaches simple techniques and attitudes that put revitalization within anyone¹s grasp. This work is assisted by the use of Crystal Tones Alchemy Singing Bowls.

The resonant, pure-tone frequencies of these bowls are the result of the the crystals¹ inborn properties to transmute, store and transmit energy, making these bowls powerful quantum tools to assist in the process of healing, meditating and reclaiming balance in our lives.

The Crystal Bowls are infused with minerals, precious metals, and gemstones for an unequaled sound experience.

Following is a schedule for the three events:
