Song and dance with Flamenco del Oro

Flamenco del Oro is a music and dance troupe with attitude and spirit delivering syncopated and sensual rhythms made with passionate guitar, intoxicating vocals and fiery dancing

Through dance, song, percussion and guitar, Flamenco del Oro inspires passion, love, mood and an appreciation of raw beauty.

Core members are guitarist Gopal Slavonic, dancer Drea Pacot, percussionist Roger Aiton and singer “La Leta.”



Pacot has been dancing flamenco for 18 years. She studied in Spain with Concha Vargas, Jose Galvan, Belen Amaya, Raphael Campallo and Concha Jareno. She studied years under San Francisco’s Yaelisa. Pacot has worked hard as performer and teacher in the Sacramento and Nevada County areas. In 2007 she received a grant from the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission to showcase her students.

Slavonic has studied and played flamenco for 17 years and studied flamenco guitar in Sevilla, Spain, at La Fundacion Christina Heeren. He has worked with California Flamenco artists Mark Taylor, Cerro Negro, La Fibi, La Carola, Roberto Zamora, Kina Mendez, Pilar Moreno and recently released his second CD, “Dos Orillas.”
