Social Security boost misinformation

We haven’t quite grown up yet. We want services the government provides: Roads, police and fire, social security, Medicare and safety, etc. Yet, we don’t want to pay for it. We want more for less. We’d also rather blame than become informed.

For example, blaming this administration for not raising Social Security is a result of misinformation. Annual cost-of-living adjustments are set automatically each year by an inflation measure adopted by Congress in the 1970s.

This year and last year there was no inflation, hence no adjustment. It’s important as a voting citizen to get the unbiased facts from several sources.
