Sierra Road Work Schedule

July 9 – 13

State Route 20 from the Yuba County line to Pleasant Valley Road: One-way traffic control at various locations from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Full highway closure with delays of up to 30 minutes between 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for blasting. A contractor is scheduled to do embankment and drainage work.

Interstate 80 from Soda Springs to Castle Peak: Various east and westbound lane closures from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. A full highway closure with delays of up to 25 minutes between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m., Tuesday through Thursday, for blasting. A contractor is scheduled to do miscellaneous construction work.



State Route 20 from the Yuba County line to Interstate 80 Junction: The No. 1 lane closed from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A California Department of Transportation crew is scheduled to clean ditches.

State Route 20 from the eastbound on-ramp from Gold Flat Road to the westbound on-ramp from Broad Street: Eastbound No. 1 lane closed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do landscaping.




State Route 49 from the Placer County line to Marysville Road: The north and southbound No. 1 lane closed from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to clear brush.

State Route 174 from the Placer County line to State Route 20: East and westbound No. 1 lane closed from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to clean ditches.
