Sierra Presbyterian Church delivered 120 filled backpacks to Grass Valley PARTNERS Family Resource Center in time for the start of fall semester.

Church members donated money, purchased backpacks and teacher-prescribed school items.

Then, they held a “packing party” to fill the backpacks, designating them for the various academic levels.

The backpacks were distributed by the PARTNERS Resource Center to the neediest students in six local high school programs and nine school districts.

This was the third year Sierra Presbyterian Church has collaborated with PARTNERS to ensure students have a good start and a successful school year.
