Sierra Center topic of week: "Thinking Outside the Box"

“Thinking Outside the Box” is the Rev. Laurie Costenborder-Jordan’s topic this Sunday at the Sierra Center for Positive Living, a Religious Science church.

It is the fourth in an eight-week series titled “Awakening World: The Renaissance of the Soul.”

The Ralph Williams Combo will be joined by vocalist Lisa Hollwedel, showcasing a song she and Williams composed together.

The metaphysical book store is open before and after the service, and everyone is invited to stay for coffee and conversation.

Licensed practitioners are available following the service for spiritual prayer treatment.

Meditation services are conducted by the Rev. Laurie at the church office at 7 p.m. each Wednesday, preceded by a silent meditation at 6:40 p.m.

The church office is in Grass Valley at the Yuba River Professional Building, 12059 Nevada City Highway, No. 210, next to Lyons.

Sierra Center for Positive Living meets at 10:30 a.m. Sundays at the Banner Grange, 12629 McCourtney Road, 1.4 miles from the fairgrounds’ main gate. Call 274-1018 for more information or directions.
