‘SiCKO’ benefit raises $4,000

People attending a benefit screening of “SiCKO,” the new Michael Moore movie, raised $4,000 for Hospitality House, the event’s host said today.

Mike Getz, owner of downtown Grass Valley’s Del Oro Theatre where the benefit was held Wednesday night, said the money will go to the area’s homeless shelter.

The movie presents Moore’s investigation of America’s health industry.
