Shea to give final message

“When I Ran the Circus” is the Rev. Terry Shea’s topic Sunday on his final day as pastor of the Sierra Center for Positive Living, a Religious Science church.

Shea has accepted a position as pastor of the White Rock Center for Positive Living in White Rock, British Columbia, Canada. A farewell potluck will follow the service.



Music will be by the Ralph Williams Combo with vocalist Sharon Joy Jahoda.




Youth church for children 5 to 12 will be available.

Meditation services are conducted by the Rev. Laurie Costenborder-Jordan at the church office each Wednesday at 7 p.m., preceded by a silent meditation beginning at 6:40.

The church office is in the Yuba River Professional Building, 12059 Nevada City Highway, Suite 210, Grass Valley, next to Lyon’s Restaurant.

The center meets at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Banner Grange, 12629 McCourtney Road, 1.4 miles from the fairgrounds main gate. Call the office at 274-1018 for information or directions.
