Scouts show pride in community pool

The Cub Scouts of Pack 23 recently spent time beautifying the planter beds at Nevada City’s Pioneer Park swimming pool, pulling weeds, planting new plants, moving rocks and sweeping decks. A generous donation and assistance from Prospector’s Nursery, whose staff volunteered their time and taught the boys the proper way to care for plants, made the work possible. For more information about Cub Scout Pack 23 and what they do, or to contact the pack, visit www.pack23scouts.com.
