Sabroso welcomes new members

The Afro-Cuban band, Sabroso, says it has expanded its horn and percussion sections with new members: Mike Bankston on trumpet, Phil Kember on trombone and Rob Holland on percussion. Hear the new configuration Friday (Aug. 22) at North Columbia Cultural Center, Tyler Foote Road on the San Juan Ridge, a gig that will also include Joel Escaona, plus the Afro-Cuban percussion ensemble, Groupo Omo Ache; Salsa Bomba and the Rueda Dance Team. Buy tickets at the door for $15/general, $12/NCCC members and teens, $8/youth 12 and younger.
