Rotary seeks applicants for trip

Rotary District 5190 is seeking four Nevada County business professionals to form a group study exchange team for a month-long visit to Japan.

Those selected will be accompanied by a Rotarian team leader on the visit, where they will share their personal knowledge of the United States and experience the customs, vocations and lifestyles of Japan. The trip is scheduled for Oct. 8 through Nov. 8.

The Rotary Foundation will pay for transportation to Japan and local Rotary clubs will provide food, lodging and transportation in the country. Team members are responsible for personal and incidental expenses.

Applicants must be employed full-time in a recognized business or profession, be 25 to 40 years old, and can’t be related to a Rotarian.

Applications are available by phoning Ray Enneking at 274-0920 (days) or 265-5458 (evenings), or by going to http://www.rotary.org on the Web. The deadline for applications is May 16.
