— South Auburn Street from East McKnight to the intersection at Whiting Street. Construction continues on the South Auburn Street Improvements Project. Placement of a 24-inch storm drain and work on frontage improvements continues from the culvert placed at Little Wolf Creek, north to the Whiting Street intersection. Preparation for paving and placement of asphalt will begin. It may be necessary to close South Auburn Street to through traffic at times. All businesses will be open, and access will be maintained throughout. Watch for construction signs and proceed with caution. Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
— Work will continue on the installation of underground dry utilities on Mill Street, Monday. Due to various construction activities on Mill Street, this area will be closed to all trucks from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays until further notice. Watch for detours and pay attention to all road signs and flag persons.
— On Highway 49/20 in Nevada City: Left lane closed and delays of up to five minutes southbound, north of Nevada Street, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning. Caltrans is making improvements on the Nevada Street overcrossing.
— On Interstate 80 in Nevada County from just west of the Fibreboard undercrossing in Truckee to the Floriston Bridge over the Truckee River: Expect various lane closures affecting east- and westbound I-80 from east of the Central Truckee Interchange to the Floriston Bridge from 10 p.m. on Sunday to 8 a.m. on Friday. Multiple work areas may cause cumulative delays of up to 30 minutes.
On Interstate 80 (east of Truckee)The Floriston Road on- and offramps to and from westbound I-80 will be closed until 6 a.m. on Monday. Detours are available.
— On Interstate 80 from west of Auburn to Colfax: Lane closures and delays of five to 10 minutes on east and westbound lanes at various locations between Newcastle and Colfax from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crews are sealing cracks and filling potholes.
— On Interstate 80 west of Truckee: Right lane closed and delays of up to five minutes on westbound lanes approaching Castle Peak from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. A bridge crew is doing routine maintenance.
