— South Auburn Street from East McKnight to the intersection at Whiting Street: Construction continues on the South Auburn Street Improvements Project. Placement of a 24-inch storm drain as well as work on frontage improvements will continue starting at the culvert placed at Little Wolf Creek, north toward the Whiting Street intersection. It may be necessary to close South Auburn Street to through traffic at times. All businesses will be open, and access will be maintained throughout. Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
— Work will continue on the installation of underground dry utilities on Mill Street, today. Due to various construction activities on Mill Street, this area will be closed to all trucks from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays until further notice.
— On Highway 49/20 in Nevada City: Left lane closed and delays of up to five minutes southbound, north of Nevada Street, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning.
— On Interstate 80 in Truckee: Work continues on a $7.7 million project to install a new median barrier between the Highway 89 south offramp and Trout Creek. The Trout Creek Bridge will also be replaced. Completion is expected in the fall of 2003.
— On Interstate 80 in Truckee: Various lane closures on eastbound lanes from the Highway 89 (south) offramp to Trout Creek from 12:01 a.m. to 2 p.m. the following day (8 a.m. on Friday). Delays of five to 10 minutes.
— On Interstate 80 in Truckee: Right lane closed from Trout Creek to the Highway 89 south offramp from 12:01 a.m. today to 11 a.m. Friday. Expect round-the-clock delays of five to 10 minutes.
— On Interstate 80 in Nevada County from just west of the Fibreboard undercrossing in the City of Truckee to the Floriston Bridge over the Truckee River: Work continues on an $86 million project to rehabilitate the roadway and replace the bridges between West Boca and Floriston. Completion is expected in the winter of 2004.
— On Interstate 80 from west of Auburn to Colfax: Lane closures and delays of five to 10 minutes on east and westbound lanes at various locations between Newcastle and Colfax from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Caltrans crew are sealing cracks and filling potholes.
