— Work continues today on a new culvert at Little Wolf Creek that could slow traffic on South Auburn Street from East McKnight Way to Whiting Street.
The Grass Valley Public Works Department reports that it may be necessary to close portions of South Auburn to through traffic during the workday. All businesses along the street will be open, and access will be maintained during work periods.
— On Highway 174: Expect one-way traffic control and delays of five to 10 minutes near the Bear River Bridge from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Work crews are installing recessed pavement markers.
— Interstate 80: (east of Truckee) Expect various lane closures affecting east and westbound lanes from east of the central Truckee interchange to east of the Floriston Bridge from 12:01 a.m. today to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Multiple work areas may cause cumulative delays of up to 30 minutes.
— On Interstate 80 from east of Gold Run to Drum: Work continues on a project to rehabilitate the roadway. Expect various lane closures and delays of five to 10 minutes on east and westbound lanes between Alta and Nyack from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., noon on Thursday.
— On Interstate 80 from east of Auburn to Gold Run: Expect delays from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Caltrans crews are doing routine maintenance.
— On Interstate 80 near Colfax: Expect various lane closures and delays of five to 10 minutes on eastbound I-80 from west of Colfax to Secret Town Road from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Caltrans crews are working along the roadway.
— On Highway 49 in Auburn: Expect intermittent closures of onramps to westbound lanes from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. A detour will be available. Motorists can expect delays of up to five minutes. Work crews are paving the on-ramps.
— On Highway 174: Expect various lane closures and delays of five to 10 minutes between Laws Ranch Cross Road and Race Street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Work crews are installing recessed pavement markers.
— On Interstate 80: Expect various lane closures and delays of five to 10 minutes on east and westbound lanes at the Cisco Grove overcrossing from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A bridge crew is doing routine maintenance.
— On Highway 49, north of Nevada City: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control and delays of five to 10 minutes on Highway 49 north of Shoshoni Trail from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crews are installing recessed pavement markers.
