Retreat to look at Zen Buddhist practice of Serene Reflection Meditation

What is a spiritual path, and how does one come to it? What sustains and nourishes us along the way? A half-day retreat will introduce newcomers to the Zen Buddhist practice of Serene Reflection Meditation., from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 15. The morning will include instruction, meditation, a Dharma talk “Finding Our Spiritual Path” by Reverend Master Astor Douglas from Shasta Abbey, and discussion with coffee and tea. The retreat will be at the Applegate Community Center, 18014 Applegate Road, Applegate.
