Re: ‘No Social Security boost in 2011’

I started reading The Union this morning, Oct. 11, 2010, when on page A4, my stomach started turning over! It read “No Social Security Boost in 2011.”

Now, I would like someone, anyone, whose cost of living has not increased to please let me know how they did it! I worked hard all my life, as so many other people have, and the only income I have is my Social Security check!

Mr. Obama and his band of cronies, I’m sure, got a real nice cost of living raise!

Let’s look at the facts, shall we: Gas is hovering around the $3 per gallon mark, energy costs are going up all the time, groceries are high, but, oh yeah, Obama doesn’t have to pay for any of that!

I guess the old saying is true, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a president who, first of all, was born in the USA and who was for the people? Maybe some day.
