Power outages in Nevada City

A power outage affecting 3,200 customers began at 1:12 p.m. today, according to Pacific Gas and Electric spokeswoman Jana Morris.

As of 2 p.m., 111 customers were still out of power in the north Nevada City area along North Bloomfield-Graniteville Road, without an estimated restoration time.

The original affected area had its power restored at approximately 1:40 p.m., including from Brunswick Road north to the Lake Vera area, as well as Gracie to Gold Flat roads west to the Reward Street area.



There is no cause for the outages at present and more information will be provided once available.
