— Tires were slashed on Mill Street.



Monday

— Six wheels and tires were stolen on East Main Street.




Nevada County Sheriff’s Office

Saturday

— Jeffrey G. Nevenzel, 44, was found dead in a mobile home on Lark Street. A friend called the sheriff’s office, asking them to check up on Nevenzel.

The death does not appear suspicious, Chief Deputy Coroner Cathy Valceschini said. The man appears to have been dead about a week.

Sunday

— A 1993 Toyota pickup was taken from Cascade Drive.

Monday

— A Beyers Lane resident complained someone was brandishing a flashlight in a threatening manner, saying the victim of the threat was “going to get it.”

— A burglary was reported at Bear River High School on Magnolia Road.

— Vandalism was reported at Cottage Hill School, Kingston Lane.
