Police blotter: Woman threatened for driving speed limit

Grass Valley Police Department

Tuesday

7:01 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of West Berryhill Drive reported someone disarmed an alarm, cut power and entered through the back door, stealing a computer and tools.



7:24 a.m. — A caller from Whiting and LeDuc streets reported transients camping in a field, leaving trash and debris.

8 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East Berryhill Drive reported a person asleep on the lawn in a sleeping bag.




9:29 a.m. — A caller from Memorial Park reported vandalism.

10:38 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Saint Johns Drive reported the theft of keys and a key fob a=from an unlocked vehicle.

11 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Arcadia Drive reported the theft of change and sunglasses from an unlocked vehicle.

11:59 a.m. — A caller from Ridge Road and Sierra College Drive reported hearing four or five gunshots.

2:03 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Lidster Avenue reported someone went though an unlocked vehicle.

3:37 p.m. — A caller from Condon Park reported yelling men; a man was cited on suspicion of having an open container.

5:27 p.m. — A caller from Lamarque Court and Brighton Street reported two people in a physical fight.

6:13 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Clark Street reported a man creeping around, dancing and talking to himself. He was carrying a credit card and a rope. He could not be located.

8:12 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of Neal Street reported a man throwing cookies and spitting on the manager. He was arrested on suspicion of violating a restraining order and trespassing.

8:17 p.m. — A caller from Mill Street reported a man just drove a truck through a yard into an NID ditch in a suicide attempt. He was now screaming in his vehicle. He was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving.

8:54 p.m. — A man from the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported his vehicle’s tires were slashed.

Wednesday

12:29 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported screaming. No one was located.

2:03 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Alta Street reported a loud party.

3:48 a.m. — A caller from School Street reported hearing gunshots. Nothing was located.

8:18 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Squirrel Creek Road reported the theft of a leaf blower.

8:23 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Sunset Avenue reported the theft of a bicycle.

8:31 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 15000 block of Bloomfield-Graniteville Road reported the door was ripped off a shop and multiple items were stolen.

10:23 a.m. — A caller from the 23000 block of Acacia Court reported finding a tortoise, which was taken to the animal shelter.

11:26 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Greenhorn Road reported an attempted extortion of money regarding a missing dog ad posted on Craigslist.

12:42 p.m. — A caller from Deer Creek forebay reported vandalism to a pole-mounted transformer via gunshot.

2:19 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Wild Life Lane reported a neighbor trying to shoot deer, possibly wounding one. Multiple gunshots could be heard on the line. The caller was referred to Fish & Wildlife.

2:46 p.m. — A woman from Wildflower Drive and Thistle Loop reported a man yelled at her for driving the speed limit and said he was going to beat her up.

5:45 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Alta Street reported a man and woman trying to steal items from a thrift store. They left after being confronted.

6:42 p.m. — A caller from Chaparral Drive reported a woman pulled a knife during an argument; she was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse.

7:30 p.m. — A man from the 11000 block of Quail Post Court reported a neighbor was shooting a pellet gun at him. He was found to be shooting on his own property.

7:51 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Highway 49 reported a woman driving on a flat tire, which was sparking.

11:26 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Fisher Court reported hearing strange noises and seeing flashlights. A raccoon was located.

6:06 a.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of German Bar Road reported a stolen quad, which was located down the hill.

11:05 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Church Street reported the theft of a computer and briefcase from an unlocked vehicle.

12:07 p.m. — A caller reported a money gram fraud.

9:11 p.m. — A caller from Jordan Street reported campers near a wastewater treatment plant.
