Police blotter: Woman reports mean people sending negative mental energies

8:18 a.m. — A caller from the post office on East Main Street reported vandalism.
8:17 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of West Main Street reported finding a backpack with contraband.
9:16 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Dorsey Drive reported an abandoned shopping cart full of possible transient camping items.
10:07 a.m. — A caller from the hospital reported an assault victim, who was uncooperative.
12:06 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of West Main Street reported finding drug paraphernalia.
2:29 p.m. — A caller from Rockwood Drive reported a possible scam.
3:30 p.m. — A caller from the 1400 block of East Main Street reported three juveniles trying to steal fire equipment.
4:08 p.m. — A caller from McCourtney and Allison Ranch roads reported two men going through mailboxes, who could not be located.
5:41 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a man stole alcohol and fled in a BMW.
7:18 p.m. — A woman from the 400 block of Henderson Street reported a man yelled at her. She then said people were being mean and sending negative mental energies at her and not being appreciative of her compassion. She was informed she was no longer allowed on the premises.
8:51 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Olympia Park Road reported a man under the influence of drugs. He was found sleeping under the stairs with trash and feces around him, and was taken to the hospital for a possible medical issue. At 1:02 a.m., the man cleaned up most of the mess, except for the feces, which he said was not his. He was advised he would be arrested for trespassing if he returned.
9:53 p.m. — Several callers from the area of Old Tunnel Road reported shots fired; it was a motorhome backfiring. Another call of shots fired was made at 10:44 p.m.

9:36 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Broken Oak Court requested extra patrols due to vehicle burglaries.
9:53 a.m. — A caller from Scotten School reported a break-in.
9:58 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Lower Anchor Lane reported an ongoing scam with a man saying he was the caller’s grandson and needed bail money.
11:22 a.m. — A caller from Bear River High School reported vandalism.
2:36 p.m. — A caller from Big Oak and Black roads reported a person took electronics and clothing.
3:51 p.m. — A woman from Bloomfield-Graniteville Road and Countrywood Lane reported a man struck her in the face; she did not want to file a report.
5:39 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 reported two runaway juveniles; they returned at 7:16 p.m.
7:04 p.m. — A caller from Highway 174 and Laws Ranch Cross Road reported a truck tried to run the caller off the road.
8:36 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Adam Avenue reported a physical fight involving two men and a woman; no charges were desired.
