Police blotter: Woman reports man tried to attack her with banana

Sunday

2:47 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East McKnight Way reported a man stole an 18-pack of beer and left in a car.



5:27 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South Auburn Street reported several teens smoking marijuana, who were gone when an officer arrived.

6:14 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Dorsey Drive reported the theft of a Kindle.




7:23 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Mill Street reported a man assaulted a woman, who did not want to file a report.

7:48 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Olympia Park Road reported two drunken men stumbling around. One was wearing a bicycle helmet and one was kicking cars.

8:07 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Stennett Street reported possible drug activity.

9:21 p.m. — A caller from the 1200 block of Sutton Way reported a forgery on a federal check.

9:29 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported a man running through a parking lot for about 10 minutes, who was then crouching by a dumpster.

9:55 p.m. — A caller from Freeman Lane and West McKnight Way reported a vehicle speeding through a parking lot. A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and violating probation.

10:06 a.m. — A caller from Lewis and Jacks roads reported mailboxes had been broken into.

10:39 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Nishinam Gulch Road reported finding empty butane cans that had been dumped.

11:16 a.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Stable Lane reported drugs possibly were being manufactured in the area at night.

2 p.m. — A caller from the jail reported an inmate had swallowed drugs.

3:29 p.m. — A caller from Greenhorn Creek and Buckeye Road reported a person with a semi-automatic weapon and an explosive device.

4:52 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Stinson Drive reported a person left a bag with a tent and sleeping bag in a field.

5:08 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Silver Way reported identity theft.

6:12 p.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Mooney Flat Road reported an open fire and partying.

7:16 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Squirrel Creek Road reported a trespasser, who could not be located.

7:47 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of John Way reported a possibly rabid skunk that seemed to be dancing around.

8:42 p.m. — A woman reported her husband was drunk and causing a disturbance, making a huge mess, dumping food on the floor. He ran at the woman with a banana that he possibly intended to hit her with. She left the residence.

11:17 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Lasso Loop reported a possible prowler, who could not be located.

11:55 p.m. — Multiple callers from the 14000 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported a man screaming and yelling and threatening to kill someone. The parties were separated.

5:17 a.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Perimeter Road reported a trespasser.

1:59 p.m. — A caller reported stolen property.

4:20 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Commercial Street reported a skateboarder running into people; he was moving on.

10:36 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Broad Street reported a dine and dash by a man who was drunk. He was taken to the hospital.

Saturday

1:30 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Spring Street reported a stolen vehicle; it was located and the person was advised to get a ride home.

3:59 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Coyote Street reported two men in an argument; a woman then was hit with a board.

9:04 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Spring Street reported a man kicked in a door and then fled.

9:30 p.m. — A man from the 800 block of Zion Street reported his mom was drunk and bit him; they were both drunk and the situation was mediated.

11:31 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of East Broad Street reported hearing a gunshot. It was quiet when an officer arrived.

Sunday

7:47 a.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Sacramento Street reported a woman staggering close to traffic; she was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

10:21 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Railroad Avenue reported a laptop had been hacked.

10:45 a.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Zion Street reported the theft of a cell phone.

1:56 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Spring Street reported a man sleeping in his car, who came up to the residence’s hot tub last night and was saying weird things. He was currently walking up and down the street, knocking on doors. He was leaving.

Monday

1:37 a.m. — A man called to report his 17-year-old son refused to stop smoking marijuana and came after him when he refused to let him get some paraphernalia. He called back at 2:46 a.m. to report his son was locked in the bathroom, smoking pot.
