Police blotter: Vehicle break-ins, gas siphoning reported

8:26 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Ascot Place reported gas siphoning overnight from two vehicles.
8:28 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Chapel Street reported a burglary to two vehicles.
10:24 a.m. — A caller from the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a man asking for money who had a razor knife in his hand. A man was arrested on suspicion of violating post-release community supervision.
11:45 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a man taking store compost and refusing to leave.
12:10 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Joerschke Drive reported possible elder financial abuse.
2:05 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Mill Street reported a man in an argument with himself, yelling and cussing.
5:40 p.m. — A caller from East Empire and South Auburn streets reported a man wearing Hawaiian shorts and no shirt was jumping in and out of traffic and screaming at cars.
7:39 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of West McKnight Way reported a man asking people in the parking lot to open a can for him that he stole from the store.
11:11 p.m. — A caller from Walsh and Townsend streets reported a man and a woman going through trash cans.

9:21 a.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Ocelot Drive reported a house had been broken into.
9:27 a.m. — A caller from red Dog and Banner Lava Cap roads reported a woman screaming for help and a man yelling. At 9:40 a.m., a request was received for assistance with an intoxicated person at Banner Lava Cap and Pittsburg Mine roads.
9:45 a.m. — A man from the 19000 block of Penn Valley Drive reported the theft of a backpack from a garage.
9:58 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Nicklaus Court reported a theft from a jobsite.
11:22 a.m. — A woman from Fisher Court reported finding her front door and car door open when she woke up.
11:39 a.m. — A woman from the 18000 block of Penn Valley Drive reported a vehicle had been broke into, with nothing missing.
1:33 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Sun Forest Drive reported a fight.
1:58 p.m. — A caller from Back Bone and Cruzon Grade rads reported a person taking firewood, dragging it with chains and tearing up the road.
2:01 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Penn Valley Drive reported a juvenile assaulting a staff member, kicking and hitting him and throwing books at him.
2:09 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Highway 49 reported a theft from an unlocked vehicle.
2:18 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Lake Forest Drive reported a fraudulent check.
5:50 p.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Ocelot Drive reported a physical fight.
8:26 p.m. — A caller from Bitney Springs Road reported a person sleeping in a tent at the springs with a large bonfire. At 5:42 a.m. Tuesday, a caller from the 10000 block of Bitney Springs Road reported a man sleeping in a tent in the driveway was refusing to leave.
10:49 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Wilson Road reported harassment and vandalism.
