Police blotter: Suspicious man reportedly chased after girl

7 a.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Sutton Way reported a man stole a bottle of Elijah Craig whiskey from a store and now was going through a mailbox.

8:26 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Mill Street reported vandalism to a window.

11:19 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported a man seemed delusional and was trying to panhandle inside a restaurant, but left when asked.

11:36 a.m. — A caller from Springhill Drive and Idaho-Maryland Road reported two people going through large stacks of mail.

5:43 p.m. — A caller from South Auburn and Neal streets reported a drug deal involving a man on a BMX bike and a man on foot.

7:31 p.m. — A caller from a business n the 300 block of Joerschke Drive reported a man came in through the back door and stole cigarettes. He was subsequently arrested on unknown charges.

8:32 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 1300 block of East Main Street reported the front door was shattered.

10 p.m. — A caller from Eureka Street reported a dog had been barking all day; its pen was guarding a marijuana grow. It was quiet when an officer arrived.

10:05 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Bank Street reported possible prowlers.


2:27 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of East McKnight Way reported a man and woman in a physical fight. He then left the scene in a vehicle.

2:45 a.m. — A caller from French Avenue and Brighton Street reported three teens shining lights into vehicles and yards.

10:05 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Orbit Drive reported a campfire and possible trespassers.

11:18 a.m. — A woman from Owl Road reported a man came to the door and said he had a videotape of her driving up and down his road; he then accused her of being “part of the feds” and a real estate agent.

12:19 p.m. — A woman from the 12000 block of Four Wheel Drive reported being assaulted.

8:11 p.m. — A caller from the 22000 block of Jennifer Drive reported that a man in a silver Toyota truck approached a girl and said he was looking for his dog, then ran after her with his pants down. He was described as being 50-60 years old with white hair and a gray beard.

8:39 p.m. — A caller from Lazy Dog Road reported a meth lab and trespassers.

8:53 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Lowell Hill Road reported a man tearing things up, popping tires and threatening the caller with a chisel. At 10:14 p.m., the man had climbed a tree and was about 100 feet off the ground, throwing branches at people and yelling.

8:55 p.m. — A caller from La Barr Meadows Road and Howe Avenue reported a vehicle racing up and down the road.

10:19 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Rough and Ready Highway reported two vehicles spinning doughnuts in the parking lot.
