Police blotter: Suspected drinking driver looks like Santa Claus

Sunday

7:59 a.m. — A caller from the post office reported a man sleeping in the building; he was moving on.



8:11 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of South Auburn Street requested a welfare check on two toddlers whose parents are actively using heroin and meth, and who drive with the children while under the influence.

9:23 a.m. — A caller from Highway 174 and Gold Hill Drive reported an unresponsive man on the side of the road; he had been locked out of his house for the night.




1:43 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 1900 block of Nevada City Highway reported a man refusing to leave and kicking the door; he was advised to stay off the property.

1:50 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of South Church Street reported illegal dumping. The property was collected for disposal.

2:52 p.m. — A caller from the hospital reported a female assault victim, who refused to provide any information.

5:23 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 600 block of Sutton Way reported a man who looks like Santa Claus who drove up, drank a beer and then went in the store. He was picked up by a taxi.

7:33 p.m. — A caller from the 700 block of Sutton Way reported people doing drugs behind a business.

9:08 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of French Avenue reported a possible prowler, who was gone when an officer arrived.

12:23 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a woman digging through donation items; she was moving on.

10:22 a.m. — A caller from Chinook Lane reported people making butane honey oil.

12:32 p.m. — A caller from Gas Canyon and Sailor Flat road reported quads trespassing on private property for the last three nights.

12:54 p.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Bowman Lake Road reported a woman fell asleep at the wheel, almost hit someone and blew out her tires.

1:01 p.m. — A man from the 14000 block of Colver Ridge Lane reported a dispute over him shooting the neighbor’s dog because it was attacking his animals. The parties were advised to stay separated.

2:12 p.m. — A caller from North Cherry Creek Road reported a man in a vehicle chasing a woman who was running down the road.

2:36 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Gray Oak Drive reported dogs had attacked a deer, which was dying; it was dispatched.

5:32 p.m. — A caller from Valley Vista Way reported a man was hitting a woman; he was arrested on suspicion of battery on a spouse.

6:53 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Bloomfield-Graniteville Road reported being struck by a man and a woman; a report was taken.

8:52 p.m. — A caller from Cole Road reported a person threatened to kill people on the property. Several other callers reported threats; it was a verbal argument regarding ownership of marijuana plants.

10:27 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Kenwood Drive reported a loud argument with a man banging on windows, trying to get in. Another caller reported screaming and possible muffled gunshots, possible related to the earlier call. A person was given a ride to the hospital.

6:14 a.m. — A woman from the 21000 block of Purdon Road reported someone shot at her; she said she heard three rounds. A report was taken.

2:44 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Lower Grass Valley Road reported a fraud.

3:35 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Prospect Court reported a woman with pink and blue makeup all over her face, screaming obscenities. She could not be located.

6:39 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Nimrod Street reported a man in a vehicle hitting a woman.

6:52 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street reported a man in a fight with himself and others. Another caller reported he was hitting the walls and screaming. He could not be located.

11)5 p.m. — A man from the 200 block of Sacramento Street reported a woman stole electronic items from a residence and was slandering his name, trying to have people on Facebook beat him up.

12:50 p.m. — A caller from Pioneer Park reported hearing three loud bangs; nothing was located.

Sunday

2:18 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Broad Street reported a fight.

12:40 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of South Pine Street reported a man sleeping on the porch of a business.

9:05 p.m. — A caller from Gracie and Big Blue roads reported a very loud fight in a parking lot. No one was located.

3:57 a.m. — A caller from Calvary and Zion streets reported a person yelling very loudly; no one was located.
