Police blotter: Staring neighbors upset man

Thursday

8:30 a.m. — A caller from the 700 block of South Auburn Street reported possible campers.



9 a.m. — A caller from the 1300 block of Mulberry Drive reported someone might have tried to enter a house under construction and requested extra patrols.

9:27 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Broadview Avenue reported the theft of a bicycle.




10:11 a.m. — A woman from the 100 block of Race Street reported a residence was vandalized, with a window broken.

12:50 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a person looking to steal items.

2 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of McKnight Way reported the theft of a green Trek mountain bike.

2:12 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Mill Street reported a man took yogurt without paying.

4:03 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported items missing from a wallet after a vehicle accident.

5:25 p.m. — A caller reported a person had been involved in a suspicious death three years ago.

6:13 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of West Main Street reported an assault.

7:21 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Second Street reported possible child abuse.

7:23 p.m. — A caller from Neal and South Church streets reported what appeared to be an 8-year-old child driving a Camry, which could not be located.

7:39 p.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Plaza Drive reported a man sleeping in a storage area. Extra patrols were requested.

1:12 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Butler Street reported people were drunk and being loud.

6:48 a.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a very drunken man.

7:49 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported a man crouched between cars, who then ran off screaming. He could not be located.

8:15 a.m. — A caller from Ananda Village reported a possible fraud.

9:23 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Waxwing Court reported an ongoing phone scam.

10:08 a.m. — A caller from Ridgeview Drive reported being attacked. Another caller reported a physical fight between two men. A report was taken.

10:45 a.m. — A woman from the 10000 block of Gold Flat Road reported her residence was broken into, with a screen bent open.

10:55 a.m. — A caller from Alta Street and Ridge Road requested information about ferrets.

2:12 p.m. — A caller from Alta Sierra Drive and Francis Drive reported seeing someone in a vehicle punch someone else.

2:39 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Hidden Rock Drive reported a burglary to a garage.

3:15 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Oak Canyon Drive reported a residential burglary. They might have scared the suspects off because the caller’s firearm was found on the bed.

3:15 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Garden Bar Road reported the theft of donkeys and a horse trailer.

4:52 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Yearling Road reported vandalism to heavy equipment.

5:34 p.m. — A woman from the 18000 block of Lake Forest Drive reported a man grabbed her and pushed her. A report was taken.

6:58 p.m. — A man from the 11000 block of Myrna Drive reported neighbors were staring at him.

11:54 p.m. — A man from the 31000 block of Relief Hill Road reported a bear in his yard that he was threatening to shoot. He was advised that was illegal and to contact Fish & Wildlife.
