Wednesday

8 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Oak Street reported the theft of a Jeep Cherokee. It was recovered at 9:44 a.m.



8:24 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported several transients sleeping in the building. Extra patrols were requested.

9:02 a.m. — A man from the 400 block of Colfax Avenue reported an assault, then was uncooperative. The suspect was cited.




9:18 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 300 block of Colfax Avenue reported vandalism.

10:17 a.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Miners Trail reported receiving a fraudulent call about her grandson.

10:30 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Eskaton Circle reported an attempted phone scam.

11:12 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Pleasant Street reported a physical fight.

12:39 p.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Plaza Drive reported panhandlers, who were moving on.

12:51 p.m. — A caller from the hospital reported an out-of-control woman who assaulted a nurse.

5:16 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported the theft of a credit card.

5:28 p.m. — A caller from Minnie Street reported a man in a vehicle watching kids playing.

9:05 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a drunken woman stumbling and vomiting. At 9:21 p.m., a caller reported she “tried to intrude” into the back door of a restaurant. She could not be located.

9:27 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a drunken man refusing to leave, running soda all over the place. He was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

9:48 p.m. — A man from Glenwood Avenue reported neighbors are cooking drugs and the sensation and smell were messing with his head. The report was unfounded.

9:59 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 100 block of South Auburn Street reported a man keeps getting kicked out, and coming back and starting fights.

12:27 a.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Second Street reported a stolen truck.

12:52 a.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Amber Loop reported possible trespassers in the pool; no one was located.

9:28 a.m. — A caller from Judith Court reported guns being fired at night and lots of fighting, and requested extra patrols.

10:25 a.m. — A caller from Town Talk and Old Tunnel roads reported people camping in vehicles; they were moving on.

10:28 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Pitcairn Lane reported a bear that might be sick, foaming at the mouth and disoriented, standing in the driveway. A caller from Valley View Road reported the bear broke into a residence, then left.

10:42 a.m. — A caller from Horton Street reported a fraud.

11:05 a.m. — A caller from the Madelyn Helling Library reported finding a large bag of possible marijuana.

11:17 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Madrone Court reported a possible caregiver scam.

11:18 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Hutto Road reported possible horse neglect.

1:22 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Greenhorn Road reported a trespasser.

2:56 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 11000 block of McCourtney Road reported receiving a fraudulent check.

3:18 p.m. — A man from Call of the Wild Lane reported a man tried to get in his front gate and swung a golf club at him when confronted.

3:36 p.m. — A man from the 10000 block of North Ponderosa Way reported vandalism to property.

3:36 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Newtown Road reported vandalism to a residence.

3:41 p.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Conservation Road reported people living in a camper.

4:27 p.m. — A woman from the 15000 block of Bella Sera Court reported finding an injured eagle.

4:43 p.m. — A caller from Englebright Lake marina reported items were stolen from a houseboat.

4:12 a.m. — A woman from the 13000 block of Lost lake Road reported hearing two loud bangs against her window; nothing was located.

4:56 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Commercial Street reported the theft of items from an unlocked vehicle.

6:59 p.m. — A caller from Commercial and North Pine streets reported a large amount of people smoking.
