Police blotter: Several vehicle break-in on Scotia Pines Circle

Grass Valley Police Department

Friday

8:10 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Rockwood Drive reported the neighbor’s dogs have been barking for three years.



8:24 a.m. — A man from the 100 block of Scotia Pines Circle reported a burglary to a vehicle, with a window shattered and multiple items missing.

8:54 a.m. — A man from the 300 block of North Church Street reported a residential burglary.




9:44 a.m. — A man from the 800 block of West Main Street requested contact regarding multiple recent burglaries.

9:47 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Scotia Pines Circle reported a burglary to a vehicle.

11:28 a.m. — A woman from Sutton Way reported her unreported stolen vehicle just left a parking lot.

11:52 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and West McKnight Way reported a vehicle driving the wrong way on the onramp.

11:59 a.m. — A man from the 600 block of West Main Street reported vandalism to a vehicle.

12:01 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of West Main Street reported an assault over a burglary report.

12:04 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Catherine Lane reported the theft of $400.

2:50 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Richardson Street reported an ongoing issue with a transient living under a deck.

2;54 p.m. — A caller from South School and West Main streets reported a man hitting a woman in a car. It was not physical, according to the couple.

4:08 p.m. — A man from the 100 block of Ophir Street reported a man was destroying a truck, breaking the back window. No charges were desired.

9:24 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Hazel Lane reported possible drug activity; no one was located.

11:51 p.m. — A caller from the 900 block of West Main Street reported a fight and a vehicle fleeing the scene, hitting vehicles in a driveway. A woman was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Saturday

12:03 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported two men going through items behind a business.

12:25 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Dorsey Drive reported a Jeep with a smashed windshield and what looks like a dead body wrapped in a blanket.

3:59 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Sutton Way reported a man looking in vehicles and opening one. A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public, a warrant and violating probation.

3:57 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Mainhart Drive reported a man kicked a woman in the stomach; she did not need medical attention.

4:16 p.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Plaza Drive reported people in a pushing and shoving match; they all had left the area.

6:21 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of South Auburn Street reported a man hitting a woman. He called to report that she was telling her friend to beat him up.

6:28 p.m. — A caller from Taylorville Road and Freeman Lane reported two girls drinking Coors in a vehicle in a drive-through; they could not be located.

9:12 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Wilson Street reported five people fighting in the road. A caller from Second and Eureka streets reported a man was brandishing a gun. A report was taken.

9:26 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Bennett Street reported transients setting up a camp.

Sunday

12:20 a.m. — A man from Mill and Bank streets reported a dispute; he had been asked to leave because he was using racial slurs.

1:56 a.m. — A man from the 1300 block of East Main Street reported someone trying to open the front door. At 2:01 a.m., the caller was advised to put a Taser down. He called again at 2:35 a.m. to report people in his residence. He then called at 3:12 a.m., then several more times. He was advised against misusing 911.

2:29 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Butler Street reported two men fighting; both were drunk. A second call was made at 2:58 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

3:50 a.m. — A woman from the 300 block of Columbia Avenue reported hearing someone in her back yard; no one was located.

Friday

9:10 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Jeabjo Way reported a residential burglary.

10:40 a.m. — A caller reported an unlawful marijuana grow; a citation was issued.

10:41 a.m. — A woman reported finding a baggie with a spoon and needles on a bus.

1:01 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Red Dog Road reported a residential burglary.

4:43 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Lawrence Way reported the theft of mail from a mailbox.

5:07 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Crestview Drive reported the theft of a trespassing sign.

8:25 p.m. — A man from the 11000 block of Beauview Road reported that a man grabbed him by the collar and pushed him against a car, then hit him. At 8:48 p.m., a caller from that address reported a woman in a domestic dispute with a man. A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

9:50 p.m. — A woman from the 17000 block of Indian Springs Road reported a man kicked in her bedroom door; a report was taken.

Saturday

1:43 a.m. — A caller from Magnolia and Dog Bar roads reported a tree and lines were down and a vehicle had hit the tree. PG&E was on scene.

2:31 a.m. — A caller from the 21000 block of You Bet Road reported a drunken man was unconscious after he rolled down a hill. The caller said the man had been combative and people had to rough him up to control him. A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

5:24 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Brooks Road reported a man refusing to pay cab fare; he borrowed the money.

11:56 a.m. — A caller from Wolf Mountain reported a burglary to the tower.

3:18 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Newtown Road reported the theft of four video security cameras.

6:11 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Alexandra Way reported a physical fight; a person was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse.

6:36 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Crestview Drive reported a 12-year-old girl was bitten by a dog.

7:02 p.m. — A caller from the 24000 block of Oro Valley Road reported a rabid skunk.

7:28 p.m. — A person was in the emergency room reporting an assault near North San Juan but left before deputies arrived.

10:12 p.m. — A man from the 13000 block of Country Heights Drive reported a woman broke his glasses.

11:09 p.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Mountain View Drive reported a man was assaulted by a woman.

11:29 p.m. — A caller from Lazy Lane and Pleasant Valley Road reported very loud music for six hours.

11:42 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of North Bloomfield-Graniteville Road reported a vehicle hit a power pole and fled.

Sunday

1:44 a.m. — A woman from McCourtney and Indian Springs roads reported a man punched her in the face. She did not need medical attention and was provided with an emergency protective order.

5:18 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Golden Star Road reported a fight and a possible gunshot. No crime was found to have occurred.
