Tuesday – 47 calls for service

12:31 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Clydsdale Court reported someone had cut the lock off a propane cage and stole the propane bottles.

2:49 p.m. – A caller on the 1000 block of Sutton Avenue reported a woman threatening employees and customers, breaking items in the store and threatening to break the front window. Police banned the woman from returning to the store.



3 p.m. – A caller on the Nevada City Highway reported someone throwing a soda out of a vehicle and hitting a homeless person.

3:11 p.m. – A caller on Nevada City Highway reported a woman allegedly beating a child inside a vehicle.




6:01 p.m. – A person in a store reported a woman putting clothing on over store merchandise.

8:21 p.m. – A caller from the 200 block of Depot Street reported ongoing parties at a neighboring house, saying they could hear people vomiting in the back yard. The caller was advised to call back if the noise got too extreme, as it was not criminal at the time.

10:03 p.m. – A business owner said a man came into her business and asked her to step outside. She refused, and he said he was looking for investors for a pub he wanted to open. The man left.

Tuesday – 97 calls for service

8:07 a.m. – A woman from the 13000 block of Gaston Drive reported a satellite network account had been set up using her Social Security information.

8:59 a.m. – A man from Big Blue Road requested extra patrols for ongoing vandalism, and said no-trespassing signs had been taken down Saturday.

10:08 a.m. – A man from the 1200 block of East Main Street reported someone tried to use his ATM card number in New York.

11:26 a.m. – A caller from the 21000 block of Chiripa Way reported possible misuse of a credit card.

12:36 p.m. – A woman from the 12000 block of Banner Lava Cap Road reported a burglary to a residence, and that someone opened a post office box in her name.

3:38 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Alta Hill Mine Road reported a theft, with three laptops, a camera, CDs and camera equipment taken from a residence.

4:13 p.m. – A caller from the 24000 block of Oakmont Way reported a burglary to a garage.

5:02 p.m. – A caller from the 24000 block of Highway 49 reported an assault had occurred.

6:04 p.m. – A woman from the 10000 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported a cat stuck in a tree. She was told the fire department could not help her.

7:09 p.m. – A caller from the 16000 block of John Way reported hearing a gunshot.

10:24 p.m. – A caller from the emergency room reported a very intoxicated person possibly had been hit in the back of the head with a rock in the North San Juan area.

Tuesday – 11 calls for service

8:25 a.m. – A caller from Nimrod and Nile streets reported a road rage incident.

6:53 p.m. – A caller from the 200 block of Commercial Street reported a person was being cruel to a dog and arguing with a woman.

Wednesday

12:56 a.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Sacramento Street reported a woman causing a disturbance. At 1:10 a.m., the caller reported the woman was now in front of the business yelling profanities. She was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
