Wednesday – 73 calls for service
9:57 a.m. – A caller from the 600 block of Kecheley Avenue reported vandalism.
12:12 p.m. – A caller from Church and Neal streets reported a person left a bus in a hurry and left behind a briefcase, a jacket and food, which seemed suspicious. The property was collected.
4:08 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Mill Street reported to people smoking and drinking beer behind a business. They were gone when officers arrived.
5:38 p.m. – A caller from a business in the 400 block of Colfax Avenue reported a man and a woman were refusing to leave. They left before officers arrived.
7:58 p.m. – A caller from the 200 block of Vistamont Avenue reported people smoking marijuana in a back yard.
9:39 p.m. – A woman from the 200 block of South Auburn Street reported her residence had been burglarized.
12:33 a.m. – A caller from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported two men in a physical fight. They were gone when officers arrived.
1:48 a.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Dorsey Drive reported a loud party, but it was quiet when officers arrived.
2:01 a.m. – A caller from the 300 block of North Church Street reported a person yelling out a window and being loud. The person was advised to turn the music down.
4:37 a.m. – A caller from Fairmont Drive reported a woman yelling for help. She was transported to the hospital.
Wednesday – 102 calls for service
10:09 a.m. – A woman from the 18000 block of Starduster Drive reported her landlord illegally entered her residence and stole items.
11:19 a.m. – A caller from the 16000 block of You Bet Road reported the theft of wood and gasoline in a gas can from the front yard the day before.
11:39 a.m. – A juvenile was cited on suspicion of possessing marijuana at Nevada Union High School.
11:53 a.m. – A man from the 17000 block of Alexandra Way reported an Internet scam.
12:21 p.m. – A man from the 13000 block of Red Dog Road reported a woman was taking his child away and not telling him where she was going. He called back to report he wanted the child picked up immediately. The woman called to report he was causing a disturbance and banging on the door while her parents and child were locked in the residence. He was gone when deputies arrived.
12:47 p.m. – A caller from the 15000 block of Auburn Road reported the theft of a gate opener and control box the previous night.
1:21 p.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of Red Dog Road reported a man hitting himself in the head and bleeding. He was taken to the hospital.
2:46 p.m. – A caller from the 19000 block of McCourtney Road reported vandalism to a mailbox.
3:06 p.m. – A woman from the 11000 block of Lower Circle Drive reported she caught a person looking through her windows last week.
4:12 p.m. – A man from the 19000 block of Connie Drive reported a possible scam phone call from a person identifying herself as a PG&E employee and asking to speak to his grandmother, then refusing to provide her name.
4:13 p.m. – A woman from the 13000 block of Highway 49 reported a burglary to a residence, and her purse was missing.
6:34 p.m. – A caller from Alta Sierra Drive reported a man yelling and acting strangely.
7:48 p.m. – A caller from the 18000 block of North Bloomfield-Graniteville Road reported a physical fight. A man said he was hit in the face with a stick.
8:04 p.m. – A man from the 20000 block of Chaparral Circle reported his estranged wife took the television.
10:33 p.m. – A caller from the 19000 block of Scotts Flat Road reported screaming at a residence. It was quiet when deputies arrived.
10:41 p.m. – A caller from Jones Bar Road and Yuba Crest Drive reported “promiscuous shooting.”
11:36 p.m. – A caller from the 14000 block of Rattlesnake Road reported brothers in a physical fight. No one would cooperate with authorities.
12:15 a.m. – A caller from the 23000 block of Rosewood Road reported a loud party.
7:24 a.m. – A caller from the 15000 block of Carrie Drive reported the theft of a garbage can.

11:03 p.m. – A caller from the 200 block of South Pine Street reported domestic violence. A man was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse.
