Thursday – 81 calls for service

8:46 a.m. – A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a road rage incident. One man was yelling that he was going to kill the other man for cutting him off. Both men had left the scene.

9:37 a.m. – A caller from the 500 block of Sutton Way reported illegal dumping.



11:47 a.m. – A caller from the 100 block of West Berryhill Drive reported the theft of tools and equipment, possibly by transients living in a camp.

12:42 p.m. – A caller from the 500 block of Jenkins Street reported a child crying for five minutes. The mother said the child was teething.




1:17 p.m. – A woman from the 900 block of Plaza Drive reported aggressive panhandlers tried to sell her speakers.

1:22 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a man making a scene in a business. He was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.

2:12 p.m. – A man from the 100 block of Dorsey Drive reported a man and woman were “higher than kites” and had a child with them. At 2:33 p.m., a woman reported she had tried to talk to the man about a drunken-driving arrest and the woman slapped her. She did not want to press charges.

7:03 p.m. – A caller from the 700 block of Freeman Lane reported a man stole shoes. The store did not want to file a report.

8:10 p.m. – A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported juveniles possibly stole items. They could not be located.

Friday

12 a.m. – A man reported he was jumped in the parking lot of a business on Sutton Way.

4:28 a.m. – A woman from the 300 block of Northstar Place reported the window of a yellow Hummer had been broken in a burglary.

Thursday – 92 calls for service

9:31 a.m. – A caller from the 16000 block of Alexandra Way reported a broken water main.

9:58 a.m. – A caller from the 11000 block of Auburn Road reported someone tried to pry open a back door, and screens were off the house.

1:15 p.m. – A caller from Union Hill School reported a 10-year-old throwing rocks at people. The child was released to the mother’s custody.

3:42 p.m. – A woman from the 11000 block of Butler Road reported a man was hitting her. A man was arrested on suspicion of violating probation.

7:30 p.m. – A caller from Steep Hollow Creek reported transients living on a property with two tents, and other people shooting guns.

9:12 p.m. – A man from the 16000 block of Pine Peak Road reported the theft of items from his garbage can.

10:19 p.m. – A woman from the 10000 block of East Drive reported her 16-year-old son was “testing his limits” and throwing things when he does not get his way. The situation was mediated.

Thursday – 5 calls for service

12:50 p.m. – A caller from Broad and North Pine streets reported a man and woman smoking marijuana.
