Grass Valley Police Department

Tuesday

8:39 a.m. – A caller from Freeman Lane reported a vehicle blocking one of the traffic lanes.



11:31 a.m. – A caller from Sutton Way reported a dog in a vehicle. The caller said the dog didn’t have water to drink and was whining.

11:45 a.m. – Officers arrested a 20-year-old man on the 900 block of Sutton Way on suspicion of possessing less than an ounce of marijuana and booked him into the Nevada County jail.




2:07 p.m. – A caller from the 400 block of West Main Street reported a vehicle blocking the driveway.

2:44 p.m. – A caller from Segeworth Way reported possible vandalism to a vehicle.

3:10 p.m. – A person from the 200 block of North Church Street reported a burglary at a residence that happened earlier during the day.

4:05 p.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported an ongoing issue with juveniles hanging out in front of a business.

5:11 p.m. – A caller from the 400 block of Maryland Drive reported loud music coming from a house for hours. Officers advised the residents to turn down the music.

5:35 p.m. – A woman from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported a verbal argument between a brother and a sister.

8:04 p.m. – A caller from Memorial Park reported four men in a dark blue vehicle, possibly smoking marijuana. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the men.

9:49 p.m. – A caller from McKnight Way reported a man hitchhiking dangerously.

10:27 p.m. – A caller from South Church Street reported a man who was drunk and sitting on the ground. Officers contacted the man and found he was not intoxicated.

Tuesday

8:03 a.m. – A woman from the 10000 block of Combie Road reported a possible stolen motorcycle on her property.

9:51 a.m. – A caller from the 14000 block of Rodeo Way reported receiving annoying calls and being stalked.

1:23 p.m. – A woman from the 11000 block of Torrey Pines Drive reported the theft of her mailbox.

1:53 p.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of Golden Trout Way reported selling and shipping jewelry but not receiving any payments.

3:28 p.m. – A caller from the 10000 block of Combie Road reported eight juveniles who were refusing to leave the parking lot.

4:56 p.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of La Barr Meadows Road reported an ongoing problem with loud music from a residence across the street.

5:22 p.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of Beyers Lane reported a shot that came in through the screen door.

7:35 p.m. – A caller from the 11000 block of Mooney Flat Road reported a burglary at the caller’s residence during the afternoon.

Wednesday

4:45 a.m. – A caller from Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital reported a death.
