8:25 a.m. – Three juveniles were reported in the skating area at Condon Park when it was supposed to be closed.

9:31 a.m. – A person in the lobby reported drug activity on the 300 block of Northstar Place.

10:14 a.m. – A caller from the 100 block of Auburn Street had a report taken for petty theft.

10:40 a.m. – A crash involving a city vehicle on Brighton Street resulted in no injuries.

11:34 a.m. – A business on the 400 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported a stolen trailer.

1:35 p.m. – Officers checking on a man walking on a city street arrested him on suspicion of petty theft and a probation violation.

5:37 p.m. – A family fight was reported at a business on South Auburn Street. Responding officers found children in an argument.

6:48 p.m. – A caller from a business on Sutton Way reported two checkbooks stolen. Officers took a report for petty theft.

7:46 p.m. – A possible drunk driver was reported on the Nevada City Highway. Officers were unable to locate the driver.

9:33 p.m. – A loud party on the 200 block of North Church Street was quieted by officers.


12:08 a.m. – Officers quieted a loud group of people standing outside a building on the 300 block of North Church Street.

10:40 a.m. – A man from the 15000 block of Lewis Road reported theft of about $1,000 from his wallet.

2:10 p.m. – A caller from the 11000 block of Ridge Road requested medical assistance for a knee injury at a wrestling gym.

2:51 p.m. – A caller from the 15000 block of Highway 49 reported several vehicles had been broken into. The caller requested extra police patrol between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m.

4:08 p.m. – A caller from the 19000 block of Martinsburg Lane reported seeing a fire in the distance.

4:19 p.m. – A caller from the 13000 block of Piper Hill Drive reported a fire at the end of the road.

4:37 p.m. – A woman from the 15000 block of Del Mar Way reported having a verbal argument with her boyfriend over her staying in the house after he turns himself in to the Placer County jail for an unknown reason. The woman called back to say she had left the residence and was waiting in her vehicle for deputies to meet her at the bottom of the driveway.

6:59 p.m. – A caller from the 16000 block of Gary Way reported vandalism to a group of mailboxes. The caller said the mail had also been stolen from them.

n 8:36 p.m. – A caller from the 12000 block of Rough and Ready Highway reported that a neighbor’s cat had been hit by a vehicle.


2:00 a.m. – A caller from the 11000 block of Cedar Ridge Drive reported that his son was possibly having a seizure.
