Monday

10:05 a.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported a fraudulent loan scam call.



12:57 p.m. — A caller from Condon Park reported graffiti in the men’s bathroom.

1:17 p.m. — A caller from the hospital reported a domestic violence victim.




4:34 p.m. — A man from South Auburn Street reported a burglary to his van.

Tuesday

3:01 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Chester Street reported a possible gas leak.

Nevada County Sheriff’s Office

Monday

9:07 a.m. — A caller from Anchor Lane and Greenhorn Road reported a woman stepping into traffic and asking drivers for a cigarette, then saying she doesn’t smoke. At 11:18 a.m., a caller reported the same woman, describing her as wearing odd clothing and white face paint. She agreed to stop flagging down cars.

9:15 a.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Bedrock Drive reported the attempted theft of a sewing machine from a carport.

9:15 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Three Sevens Place reported the theft of gas for the second time.

9:49 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 11000 bock of Squirrel Creek Road reported a person stole Gatorade and left in a truck.

10:26 a.m. — A caller from Highway 49 at Independence Trail reported a motorcycle versus vehicle accident.

10:30 a.m. — A caller from red Dog Road and Connaught Place reported trash had been dumped.

10:39 a.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Orchard Springs Road requested extra patrols due to recent burglary activity.

10:44 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Combie Road reported the theft of a rear license plate.

11:47 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Briarwood Lane reported a dog attacked another dog. A person was cited for a dog running at large.

12:13 p.m. — A caller from Lyman Gilmore School reported a juvenile assaulted a staff member; the student was released to a parent.

12:40 p.m. — A man from the 10000 block of Bitney Springs Road reported a residential burglary.

12:55 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Highway 49 reported an attempted fraud.

1:40 p.m. — A woman from the 20000 block of You Bet Road reported a residential burglary with forced entry and the theft of multiple items.

2:23 p.m. — A caller from a business on the 10000 block of Combie Road reported the theft of a check that was forged and passed.

4:12 p.m. — A caller from the 14000 bloc of Lime Kiln Road reported a woman who seemed to be in shock came to the door and said she had smashed her car.

8:35 p.m. — A caller from Juvenile Hall reported an assault.

1:50 p.m. — A caller from a business in the 700 block of Zion Street reported that a person called in a false prescription.

4:41 p.m. — A caller from Main and Commercial streets reported a man had been screaming into a phone for an hour, yelling at passersby; a second man had urinated on the business wall.
