Police blotter: Pot grower reportedly chased kids on trail

7:18 a.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a large group of transients spitting and yelling at each other; they could not be located.
8:16 a.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Sutton Way reported a woman did not pay for her coffee and then threw it around. She was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting.
9:07 a.m. — A woman from the 1000 block of Pampas Drive reported her “punk son” was refusing to leave and then broke her phone; she then was able to lock him out of the house. A BOLO was issued.
9:36 a.m. — A caller from Idaho-Maryland and Brunswick roads reported illegal dumping.
9:57 a.m. — A woman reported confiscating marijuana from her 15-year-old son.
1:45 p.m. — A woman reported the possible theft of pain medication from an unattended purse while she was shopping.
2 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Brunswick Road reported three men loitering, drinking alcohol and smoking weed.
3:51 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Mill Street reported a vehicle theft.
4:32 p.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Sutton Way reported a shoplifter.
4:58 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Sutton Way reported people living in the bus shelter.
5:24 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Neal Street reported a hit and run with a woman taking the license plate off one of the vehicles. It was confirmed as having been stolen.
5:49 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of South Auburn Street reported a man camping in an empty lot.
7:25 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported a possible burglary.
10:14 p.m. — A woman from the 500 block of Wiley Lane reported a man assaulted her an hour ago. She left and returned to find her place destroyed. A BOLO was issued.
11:04 p.m. — A caller from Joerschke Drive reported five men in the middle of the road in a heated argument about to go physical.
11:28 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Dorsey Drive reported three boys in the parking lot doing “whippits.” No one was located.
2:10 a.m. — A woman reported people were preventing her from leaving her house by putting a dead animal against the back door; there was nothing there.
3:39 a.m. — A caller from the 1000 block of Plaza Drive reported a woman came into a business, threw money at the employee, said the police just beat her up and left.
6:49 a.m. — A caller from the 500 block of Sutton Way reported a vehicle burglary.

9:45 a.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Penn valley Drive reported vandalism to fire hoses on a building.
10:02 a.m. — A caller from Cooper and Madrone Springs roads reported the theft of a radio and fuel from county utility equipment.
10:38 a.m. — A woman from Deer Park Drive reported two friendly chickens in her yard, which were taken to the animal shelter.
12:55 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Lowden Lane reported a scam call from a man pretending to be the caller’s grandson.
2:12 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Pekolee Drive reported identity theft.
3:44 p.m. — A woman from Fay Road reported disrespectful behavior by her neighbor.
3:57 p.m. — A caller from Rough and Ready Highway park and ride reported locating a large amount of mail.
6:25 p.m. — A caller reported a man who appeared to be growing marijuana chased some children on the NID ditch near Manzanita Diggins Road.
8:04 p.m. — A caller from the 18000 block of Wildflower Drive reported the theft of a bill of sale and title from a vehicle.
8:28 p.m. — A caller reported a man driving under the influence, hearing voices. Another caller reported the man had called and threatened her, saying he was on his way to her residence. A BOLO was issued.
11:19 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Honeysuckle Lane reported people camping on Empire Mine property with a campfire.
12:16 a.m. — A caller from Silver Leaf Drive and Amber Street reported an assault with the suspect currently passed out in a station wagon.
1:48 a.m. — A caller from the 14000 block of Sierra Woodlands Court reported a residential burglary with several firearms taken.
2:05 a.m. — A caller from the 21000 block of Tiger Tail Road reported a possible prowler, with doors found unlocked.
2:23 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Little Valley Road reported people coming over a fence next door.
7:18 a.m. — A caller from Gold Hill Drive and Silver Way reported a man possibly siphoning gas from vehicles and left a gas can and hose behind when he drove away.
